Consistency is everything in the music game, and I must say Nu Tone remains consistent. With every release, I believe we go a little higher. In an interview with RYZE Magazine, Nu Tone shared we could...
TVRNED UP feat. JXHN PVUL has great energy that highlights progression. The chorus has overruns in certain parts: Ray G definitely laid in the cut like Neosporin!
The production gave me that Tyga vibe with melodic tones and punchy kicks. Ray G has that West Coast flow with a new age delivery.
I was immediately pulled in the direction of The Game with some apparent flashes of Nip.
I am excited to hear more from this artist. There is no doubt with the ensemble of praise and joy given, who he serves! God has an impact on Ray G’s calling to deliver us the Word Ray G style (made it his own)!
I found myself cranking this Jawn to the max! This song has the potential to be special. Today’s audience loves to get up and dance and worship.
TVRNED UP is nothing short of spectacular! Ray G has delivered a BANGER! Be on the lookout for his new EP “Overtime!”
We give TVRNED UP an 8.5 out of 10 for its clarity, production, and message!

AND Another One... Call Out by Nu Tone features Alcott & QEW | Posted July-10-2021
Consistency is everything in the music game, and I must say Nu Tone remains consistent. With every release, I believe we go a little higher. In an interview with RYZE Magazine, Nu Tone shared we could expect new music from him bi-weekly as a directive from the LORD to release music that people can relate to— Call Out offers listeners a fresh sound from producer 100 Graham, this beat has a new feel; along with vocals from QEW, and a cadence from Alcott, who kills his verse.
I appreciate the new release approach, each one seemingly building on top of the last collaboration offering fresh artistry that’s often bypass for lack of clout. I love Nu Tone’s choosing here as Call Out gives new vibes sonically.
When asked his heart on the matter Nu Tone shared, “We all go through trials and tribulations in this world. This song was created to help push people closer to JESUS. Man will always let you down, but GOD won’t. HE will not fail us. HE’s always there for us. Let’s run to HIM today. JESUS is faithful to complete what HE started in us if we stay the course.”
HE who began a good work in us is faithful to carry it on until it’s finally finished (Phil. 1:6, NLT).
That Wata (feat. Lucky Luciano) (Single) | Posted June-29-2021
Rapper Nu Tone dropped “That Wata” a new single featuring Texas favorite Lucky Luciano, on June 23rd; and like those before it, it offers listeners a musical journey that bops too.
The Stockton, CA-based artist is definitely giving the Valley wings. His talent for collaborating with some of the hottest up-and-coming artists is what we love and his flow makes you incline your ears to every word they share. Not only is Nu Tone a rapper and pastor, but he also creates music to reach the streets. It’s very apparent his heart is for the lost.
The Bible speaks of the “Living Water” only found in the one true God our hearts adore and here we grasp the very intent of the change available to submitted hearts. Every song Nu Tone makes is big, heartfelt, and message-filled. This one is no different.
Produced by 100 Graham, the bass line enthralls, while driving this follow-up track, it’s no wonder the fans vibe out to every release — Nu Tone remains consistent in his flow and his love of the Gospel. Keeping listeners inclined to the Word is never an afterthought with every release we expect to be encouraged the more.
Nu Tone teamed up with Ivon and Miles Minnick for this new hitter, LOUDER released June 2, and it's just in time for the welcoming of Summer festivities as hot days and night are on the way.
Louder, the follow-up to Go Hard, offers listeners a great beat to rock too with some of Cali’s favorite artists, inducing listeners to turn the track up louder, for many reasons but most of all because our “GOD is great, and greatly to be praised!” So follow suit and turn it up— LOUDER!!
Produced by home town fav 100 Graham, Nu Tone hits the mark again with this one, as it instantaneously makes ya’ head move. You can’t help but get into it, and Ivon gives listeners the right intro vibe to get active, immediately followed up by Nu Tone’s sultry cadence, culminated by Yay Areas own, Miles Minnick.
Effortlessly, the song launches into a free-spirited romp, incorporating a dance party in the chorus, taking listeners literally by the hand on a praise journey verse by verse. Nu Tone circles around stories within his music, implying much, and declaring the Word of GOD, creating a constant vibe for CHH listeners.
Louder is available on all digital platforms and can be heard here on Spotify.
Nu Tone's fourth single, Go Hard, featuring Kay Sade literally goes hard! Offering listeners a declaration of allegiance to "The King!”
What It Sounds Like
Immediately listeners are welcomed and escorted by the 808 bass line. And, the anthemic chorus "I'm a Go Hard for the King” gets in your neck! True to Nu Tone’s collaboration style, his counterpart Kay Sade kills her 16 bars. Dropping in with a perfected cadence… you guessed it, she too, is going hard for “The King!”
Spiritual Highlights
Of course the overall message of “Going Hard for The King,” highlights Tone’s desire to do all he can to represent the relationship he has with the Father as honorable.
But lyrically identifying the need to be led by the Holy Spirit offers the acknowledgment of total reliance on his steps being ordered by the Lord. The Bible is clear, the Paraclete (advocate and or helper) has been called alongside us to help us live a victorious life.
Why, This Song?
This collaboration offers the perfect mix of bop, message, and representation. As agreement is undoubtedly the intersection where both artists proclaim their desire to walk circumspectly when it comes to the Word and Will of God.
Nu Tone offers his audience a panoramic view full of insight and cultivation with many similes; having been an active gang member and highly vital individual, it’s great to see the Lord’s grace and saving power at work. Listen to Go Hard.
