Is This All Superchic[k]'s Got? | Posted July-30-2008
Okay, I'm going to get right to the point. Superchic[k] has a pretty awesome sound, but you can only listen to it for so long. While I applaud their musical outside-the-boxness, the melody is so simple that all of their songs sound like sing-alongs, which does not keep you interested for the entire length of the CD. The lyrics never go very deep, especially on the spiritual level, and you're left wondering how the adult band members can stand to play these songs at every show.
Unless you are 13 or younger I say skip this band; if you continue listening to this stuff there is a possibility of developing an interest in High School Musical!!!

I found out about this album from the weekly NRT e-mail. Maybe it was this album's cover art that drew me to it or maybe it was the fact that it was one of just two albums released that week. Anyway, it only took one 30 second clip to tell me that these guys are special. I bought and downloaded the album right away and it has become one of my new favorites. It sounds like a mix of Relient K, Fall Out Boy, and Hawk Nelson with awesome out-of-the-ordinary lyrics.

The first time I heard this album, I was using a free trial for music downloading. By the time I was halfway through the album, I knew I had to get a copy I could have for keeps. In my opinion any of the tracks could be a hit single.
The songs are well-written, Leigh is a wonderful singer and you don\'t get tired of listening to the CD over and over again. \"Ocean Size Love\" and \"Blue\" are my favorites and the rest are great as well. I can\'t imagine anyone saying he/she didn\'t like this CD unless he/she was expecting something loud and fast. This CD is totally worth the money.
It couldn't have a better title! | Posted August-06-2007
I really can't express how much this album did for me. It literally transformed me in a wonderful way. It came to me at the perfect time, in a perfect way. I was really blow away by how good this music was and how beautiful and honest Rebecca St. James' voice was. I'm a HUGE all around music fan, and this album has made the most impact on me spiritually. I'm not knocking anyone else's musical preference, but some of the worship artists now, just don't sound authentic or natural, the way Rebecca St. James does.
Someone else's "transform album" might come in the form of a heavy metal ablum or a Steven Curtis Chapman record, but this album was mine and I'll never forget it.
