Old school excellence. | Posted September-26-2007
These guys took me by surprise, I figured it would be mediocre/sub-par. But I enjoyed every minute of it. Very old school, it sounds way to raw to be a groups third release, their sound hasn't been diluted with time, it sounds every bit as good as their sophmore record, "Apparitions of Melody".

I actually liked this? | Posted September-26-2007
I started listening to it and fully expected it to suck. But the beats were catchy and I loved electronica sound throughout. It is among my favorite punk albums ever.

Sweet album | Posted September-26-2007
Another solid album from the premeire Christain White rapper today. The beats are good the tunes are very catchy and he has several songs with heart-felt lyrics. "Wake-up" Ft. Toby from emery, has a rock core that is very awesome. The one thing that the album is missing is an "instant classic" (yes I am aware that is cliche). But what I am taling about is a song like "47 emcees" or "Viedo games". The closest song on "Yearbook" is "Say what you want" where KJ is rap battling a copycat rapper, one he refers to as "KJ-53". So despite the abscense of that, it is an excellent CD, well worth the price of puchase.

Rock on | Posted September-26-2007
This album rocks my socks off. More melodious than all of their other albums but still is hard enough to keep me entertained, half of the songs on the CD deserve to be instant classics, and the other half are still better than 97.5% of all other music available today.

Awesome | Posted September-26-2007
I can hardly say enough good about this album, it has to be in my top three records of all-time. No one else has ever blended two part vocals with driving guitars drum-beats the way these guys did. I always have thought that a band needs develop their own sound, while at the same time not having all of their songs sound the same. 38th Parallel pulls it off very nicely. It's too bad they won't be making anymore albums.

Decent | Posted September-26-2007
I had high hopes for this album when I listened to it. I had heard the single "Sunday" and was incredibly impressed. Catchy and with good lyrics. The rest of the album was pretty good but not fantastic. Of course, I rarely like this type of worship/gospel sound anyways, so the fact that I liked it at all is very impressive. I would defintely reccomend it to anyone who likes their style.

Spoken- Self titled | Posted September-25-2007
I really liked Spoken's previous album "Last Chance To Breathe" but it was to pop-sounding for my taste. So I was very excited when I first heard "History Erased". This album really impressed me, the new album is actually to hard for my taste. However they retained the melodic pop choruses. All in all it is definitely my favorite Spoken album to date.
