Static Evolution | Posted April-06-2011
Dear Diary by FM Static is certainly a great album. One of my favorites of all time. Trevor McNevan has done it again. This album displays where the band has evolved to. The sound is more worked-out and overall better than the previous albums. The production is spectacular. The album is true to Static's themes of college life, girls and confusion with life. Lyrically, it is one of the most relevant albums in recent years. And, of course, Trevor stays true to the Message--giving God control of life even when it doesn't make sense. The album also contains, in true Static fassion, a silly tune about how money isn't everything. Tricia Brock of Superchic[k] is also featured in one of the songs making this a truly spectacular album.

Best Work of Christian Fiction (I have encountered) | Posted April-06-2011
I have read other Ted Dekker books, but this is my favorite. The amount of suspence and detail in this book is amazing. I have not read another book that has had such a great effect on me. The theme of the book is so deep and it is never fully exposed by the author; it's depth is something you will think about for weeks. There are also a lot of factual grounding in this book, which makes the experience more real. Highly recommended. An absolute must-read.

this is good music | Posted August-05-2009
This album has brought a new sound to Hillsong music. The LIVE album has seen a new degree of passionate worship. The album does not focus on the peppie-praise songs which are glorified in their previous albums. This album however focuses on deep worship and as seen on the DVD, this night of worship ended with no one on the stage except Jesus.

We all feel the flame when listening to this | Posted July-14-2009
Thousand Foot Krutch has really created an amazing set of songs in The Flame in All of Us. This album brings out the best in TFK. We once again encounter the whisper-like rap combined with heavy riffs in songs like "My Own Enemy" and "Inhuman". They present their melodic and lyrical genius in the hits "New Drug", "Falls Apart" and "The Flame in All of Us." TFK's soft side is also seen in the tender, melodious tracks "My Home" and "Wish You Well."
Overall, this is a great album--the greatest project we have seen from TFK yet. All of the songs reflect deep emotion and express their relationship with God. Thousand Foot Krutch accomplishes an amazing and noteworthy feat: they present an amazing message without toning down the music. This album receives a 4.5 from me because I do not find "The Last Song" very plesant. Otherwise it would've gotten 5 stars. This is still an excellent album and a good choice to any rock-lover. RAWK ON!!

This album is a must-have for any serious worship music enthusiast. The studio-recorded project goes beyond most live albums. This album has dramatically changed our worship music as we know it. Each song takes you into God's presence and is excellent for devotion. The lyrics inspire you to seek God as the beautiful music leads you to praise. Excellent album, unexpected from a studio-recorded project.

wow, this is a power-packed album, one of United's best. Even though this is just an EP, the music is up to par with its full-fledged counterparts. This EP introduces some new voices to the band and does not feature the well known singers such as Joel Houston, Brooke Fraser or Jonathan Dougla; instead, we hear the voices of the next generation including Matt Crocker and Heather Stevens. The songs on this album represent a new style coming from Hillsong. It's the sound of the future. This album is a must-have for anyone looking for cutting-edge, life-changing worship music. amazing, amazing, amazing.
