Happily Surprised | Posted February-22-2011
Quite honestly, I wasn't planning on buy this CD.
I have been unimpressed by the last couple of Hawk Nelson albums. Not that I disliked the songs or anything, but they just didn't have that same Hawk Nelson spark that their first albums did.
This one, however, I really like.

Beautiful | Posted November-22-2010
After starting this book I didn't know if I wanted to read it. Emma Daring is abused. I could feel the darkness.
At the time I didn't feel like reading something so serious.
But like with all Jamie Carie books, I sat there without my eyes straying from the pages.
It is actually a beautiful story. It shows God's mercy and grace and how he can heal those that are broken

I picked up this book last year. At the time I was taking physics and European history at the community college. It fit so perfectly with school I was happy. Actually, it left me fascinated with French Revolution. I knew the facts, but the character of Christophi being a count who escaped being slaughtered and of Scarlett who through her deceased husband is related to Robespierre just captivated my attention.
Besides the fascinating history, I really loved the love story between Christophi and Scarlett.

I was so excited when this book came out.
I have a great love of Alaskan historical fiction.
It is a nice short read with good character development. I was surprised that felt like I knew Ellen and Buck as if the book was much longer.
I highly recommend this book, especially if you like Alaska gold rush books like me.

Good | Posted November-22-2010
This book gives real detail in the historical background on life as a Quaker in America in comparsion to life in England during the time period.
Though it is not my favorite of her books, it is still a good read.

Love this one | Posted November-22-2010
I was glued to this book.
Set during the American Revolution, I like how,, though it is a romantic story, it doesn't romanticize the war. Bad things still happen.
It is an intriguing story. I would definitely recommend it.
However, there are certain parts that are slightly over the top.

One sitting | Posted November-22-2010
One day I got this book.
It looked very interesting to me.
That evening I decided I would start it.
At three in the morning I finished it.
Then I got up three hours later for work.
Worth it!
I would love to write a more accurate review for this, but I read it a year ago so it wouldn't be very accurate. I would have to read it again.

This is a beautiful CD.
Each song is so genuine.
My favorites of the moment are Undertow, My Cry, and especially I Love You Anyway. That last one makes me cry nearly every time.

Great Album! | Posted October-03-2009
This album has incredible music. There aren't any songs that "I don't care for". I frequently get "Critical Emergency" stuck in my head. It is great music to dance to. I have used it in my dance classes
