One of 2008's Best Live Album | Posted January-11-2009
When I heard Paramore was gonna have a live album, I knew it was gonna be good. And I definitely was not disappointed.
Hayley Williams is blessed with such a great voice. And thank God she can sing live too. Her vocals are added with much more personality and spunk than the album. I really enjoyed listening to it.
And the rest of the band was flawless. The riffs from the electric and the steady drums all combined to bring a great performance.
The audience in Chicago are lucky people.
I loved "Hallelujah" and how the band incorporated Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" with it. And other songs like "We are Broken" and "Emergency" topped my list.
Ok, I was wrong. This performance wasn't all that perfect. It would be perfect if I was there. Not saying that I'm perfect but after listening to this, I need to see Paramore before I die.

Same Old, Same Old (Well, Sorta) | Posted August-27-2008
Yet, again BarlowGirl makes a great album. I've always loved them for their melody, vocals, and lyrics and they delivered in How Can We Be Silent. The songs may sound familiar melody wise with the power rock and Alyssa Barlow's voice still very good but if you're looking for past songs similar to girl topics like 'Clothes' or 'Five Minutes of Fame' there isn't much. This album was more for the youth of the nation to be bold, announcing the truth. In a way the songs' meanings are a bit trite but the lyrics are add well the BarlowGirl twist. But really you won't be dissapointed, the only thing that was a drag was that the whole album had only 10 tracks. It'd be nice if they had more.

It's Falling Up | Posted August-08-2008
i guess i'm a fan of falling up. but i really became one after i heard exit lights. i didn't really like this album maybe because i was a bit spoiled by exit lights or i just dont know falling up as well as others. i thought there were really really really weird songs on this cd. i mean i know that falling up has this unique sound right? but some were kinda freaky. like the dark side of indoor track meets. that was odd. there were some good songs but my overview of the album was a bit mixed.

Pretty good, | Posted February-11-2008
i remember the day my friends gave me this for my christmas present. dang i was sooo happy. i listened to it and i was even more happy. the first half of the album was really good. "anthem" was a good start. with "pure" too. but the second half was a bit boring maybe because they were slower but still was pretty good. and yes i like this album. but the sad thing is klove and air1 'kills' their songs. "we live" has been killed too many times. it is VERY overplayed.

i actually like this | Posted February-11-2008
i usually dont like worship music. i guess cuz its too slow or not rock-y. but i was listening to this album and the music stuck on me. as a worship leader i really loved how it was live and they were really really really good. great instruments and great vocals. you can totally tell their were singing from their heart. truly worshipping God.

Best Remix Album | Posted February-11-2008
i guess i agree with lots of other ppl here but yeah, dont really like remix songs or album because they practically kill the song. but this album was really good. i like the different sound effects and the twists they put in the songs. i also liked how they pulled other artists like solomon olds and other peeps in the song. it was actually a pretty cool remix album.
yup, go buy it if you like different twists on your favorite falling up songs
