This is another band very similar to the whole Hillsong United movement. =| And the CD cover is very similar to Coldplay's "Viva La Vida"... Unoriginal!

This album was okay. It's "the new' Kirk Franklin. I prefer Kirk Franklin's earlier songs that had a more choir-vibe going on. If you're a true Kirk Franklin fan, then you will like this album. If not, this one might not be such an exciting collection of songs for you.
Anyway.
The songs on "Hello Fear" have very uplifting, positive messages if you are going through hard times and struggles. I personally think that the best song on the whole thing is "GIVE ME (Feat. Mali Music)" That definitely is a stand-out track... "Hello Fear" has it's goods and bads. But in the end, it's basically a CD to get you positive about the negativity in your life.

I loved Jason Castro while he was on American Idol. And I still love him! He's so talented. I'm a bit glad he made it just far enough on American Idol without actually winning because now he can have artistic freedom. I'm VERY happy that he is expressing his heart and is unashamed to tell the world that he's a Christian. JASON CASTRO is COOL. Great CD. I like it.

I'm so glad that I was able to preview this album. It's pretty good and I listened to it three times in a row. It's good, the lyrics are solid, the vocals are the same distinct "Starflyer 59" style. It'll definitely please the S59 fans... People who have never heard of them might have to listen a few times so that the songs can grow on them. One disappointment is that some of the songs sound very similar... HOWEVER, it's a pretty good album. The first songs are great.

I recommend this band to anyone who likes meaningful and encouraging, clean indie music. This is some top-notch music. It's great. Esterlyn is such a great band and I hope they keep making great music for God. I hope they stand out and never compromise and keep their music unique and beautiful (:

this album is very soft and acoustic. it's very calming and encouraging. the vocals are top-notch and soothing. the music is beautiful and the sound is resonating.
Definitely check it out.

Thank You For the cross, everything changes, are the only songs that I have heard by Kathryn but they are really good songs. i will check out more of her songs, because I'm sure they are worth listening to. She has a great voice and a heart for God.

This is such a great album. I listened to it and it took a while to take it all in because the sound is different from Houghton's previous music. But it is really good music in the end. I love the heart of worship that Houghton has and I pray that he'll continue to make great music to GLORIFY God and bring others closer to GOD.
Top songs: Sing Redemption's Song. Moving Forward. I Receive. Surely Goodness.
