Well this Cd is deffinatly one of the best CD's I have heard in a while.

I had the oppertunity to see this band live at their CD release party for "I Swear..." and all I can say was that it was simply awesome!! They played amazing and they are all really awesome people as well!

As of this album I have to say that, im my opinion, this one is much better than the first one. I love Rylands vocals in this CD and the lyrics are just down right amazing! I just love the whole feel of it in general.

I would deffinately recommend this CD to all Inhale exhale. I'm not sure what genre to classify this album as bc it's harder than "hard Rock" and it's not quite your typical hard "metal" It is a very pleasent in between and I would reccommend it to everyont that likes rock, metal and all genres in between. But I warn you, once you start listening to it you won't be able to stop!

ANOTHER! | Posted July-30-2008
uggg. Well I was kind of hoping that after over 10 years and what seems like a million albums and singles and videos, this band would be finished for good. I guess I was way wrong! With all this hype about this new album from the "Rock legends" I couldn't help but ask myself and everyone around me "Will this band EVER quit???"

Well, like I have said numerous times I really am NOT a fan of Third Day. I honestly, just can't see how they are the "best rock band ever!" Even after listening to this CD, which is supposedly a best of. it all just sounded like a bunch of songs that I have heard way to many times and I don't want to hear them again. However, Even though I'm not a fan, I would have to agree that this is a much needed best of. After having whatseems like 40 million CDs and still not stopping, I guess this is a must have for younger fans that don't have the entire collection ((or don't have the money to but all of them!!))

Okay so I'm going to be completely honest for a sec. I am NOT the biggest Third Day fan at all. To be Honest I really really dislike them. I can't stand the lead singers voice! he sounds like a goat. But I will admit that there are maybe 2 of their songs that I actually like. In my opinon though, this album is nothing but a bunch of songs that I have heard one to many times and I never want to hear again.

Amazing!!! | Posted July-30-2008
Wow. Thats simply all that I have to say for this album. I have had this album for over 3 years now and it is still my favorite CD!!

This CD is simply amazing from start to finish. There is not one bad song on this CD from start to finish. All of it is amazing!! Dave Pelsues voice and scream through the whole CD is great. I love the fact that this is a very very dark album but it is also an obviously christian CD.

Although I love every detail about this album, My favorite is the lyrics. I admit that when I first heard the lyrics to this CD I was very sceptical about whether or not KITW was really a christian band. But I soon found out, after a little research, that every song on this CD has somethign to do with God ((With the exception of the Tears for Fears cover of "Head over Heels")) For example, the opening song Last Day of 1888 is a very sceptical song that has caused a lot of controversy. But I was soon to find out that that song is actually about the case of the serial killer Jack the Ripper. The moral of the story is about false judgement.

anyways, enough about that. In summery I just wanted to say that this has to be the best album, even to this day, that I have heard in YEARS and it is BY FAR the best KITW album ever to come! I would deffinatly reccommend this album to anyone that likes hard rock or screamo!!!!!

Hmmmm? | Posted July-30-2008
Well, as a HUGE fan of Falling Up I can see where this album seems a tad bit unnessecary. The biggest complaint that I have about this is that it isn't anything special. It is only 15 songs that are all old songs. There isn't any new songs, or extra DVD footage or any of that.

I'm still not sure whether this was their idea or the labels but whatever. One thing that I can say though is that the songs that they picked are really great. I love that it has a decent amount of older songs as well as newer stuff. As you can expect, all of their single and popular songs are on this album but I love that they put some unknown ones as well. Such as Islander.

Like I said before the only complaint is that their isn't anything new or extra, as a die hard Falling Up fan, I have no motivation to buy this CD But I do have to agree that this CD is PERFECT for anyone that is just starting to listen to them or anyone that likes them but doesn't want to buy all 4 CDs.

Sell out | Posted February-11-2008
Let me start off by saying that I am a huge Kids in the Way fan. I love them so much and I look up to Dave as a writer and a vocalist. Apparitions of Melody, in my opinion, is the best CD I've ever heard! When I found out that this CD was coming out I was counting down the days until the release. Then I went out the day that it came out and bought it...

I listened to this CD and I couldn't be anymore disappointed. The lyrics to this cd are the most disappointing. After hearing the amazing heart pouring lyrics in AOM, I was expecting much more from someone that can clearly pour his heart out. The lack of spiritual content in this CD is the bare minimal. Almost all of the songs on this CD are about girls and relationships. And Dave's amazing screams heard in AOM are only visible in Fiction ((the re-released single from Apparitions of Melody Dead Letters Edition)) It just seems to me that during this album KITW completely sold out.

There are a few songs that I'll admit that are amazing ((like Winter Passing and Farewell)) but overall this CD was a huge disappointment to most KITW fans. If you don't mind fluffy lyrics and poppy music then go ahead and buy this CD but if you are a big KITW fan and you love AOM and Safety then I wouldn't recommend buying this.
