Ready or Not, it's Britt Nicole's third studio album | Posted March-27-2012
When I heard that Britt Nicole was releasing a new album, I was ecstatic. Her past albums have been incredible, and her new release "Gold" is no exception. This 11-track album, (13 if digitally downloaded), amazed me from the first second to the last. Each track is a story come to life, of encouragement and strength, and of being a follower of Jesus. The main focus of the album, and its title track, is that we are valuable; we're worth more than gold. Each song touched me in a certain way, unlike any other artist, which is pretty amazing.

This is one album you do NOT want to miss out on; before you know it, it'll have a gold status. Within hours of releasing it to iTunes, "Gold" reached #1 of Christian music and #12 overall.

The thing I like most about this record is that it's real. Real issues, real people, and real talent. This gold is one that you won't want to trade in for money!

Fear Not. | Posted June-12-2011
I'm not one to read a lot at a time, but finished Max Lucado's Fearless in 2 days. Each chapter goes into possible reasons for our worries and fears. Using Biblical references to defend his points, Lucado tells us to live fearlessly because we serve a God who we can trust in and take away our fears.

One thing I really left this book with was Lucado's telling us to live PEACEFULLY. To pray and act on our worries, evaluate our fears, live today, and, most importantly, let God be enough. After living peacefully, I can say that I have lost some of my fears and worries. I have been living my life without paranoia or worst-case scenario thoughts. I have been able to step out and stand out for Jesus Christ.

I highly recommend this book for everyone. It is definitely worth your time.

"Lost Get Found" catches hearts of many | Posted June-12-2011
The Lost Get Found, the sophomore album of Britt Nicole, is definitely worth getting. The opening song "The Lost Get Found" is a very catchy and upbeat song. It encourages you to share your faith with others. "How We Roll" is a song that says that sometimes you just have to leave work behind and have fun in life.

"Safe" gives the message that when life gets hard,  turn to God's love. His love is safe and you should run from it. "Hanging On" says that we have to hang onto God's every word, not letting go through the worst.

"Headphones" is a song that says you shouldn't be afraid to be yourself. (And if you feel alone, put on your headphones). "Welcome to the Show" is an upbeat song that says we have to let go of life and let God's love take over.

"Walk on the Water" is such an encouraging song. It says to step out and do what you were called to do, even if you are afraid, because God is with you.

"Glow" says that in darkness, light overcomes, and that God's love shines the brightest. "Like A Star" says that His love shines like a star in the sky, and that it can be seen in us.

"Feel The Light" is a slower-paced song about giving up your life and your past to God and letting him into your life. "Have Your Way" is my personal favorite. It says that in the hardest times in life, we want God to have his way, not our way.

After sharing Britt's music with friends, I can easily say that they have become closer to God. Not only has her music helped me stay with God through hard times, but my close friends. And that has made all the difference. Every song on this album is so easily relatable and is so encouraging to walking with Jesus. I highly recommend this album.
