Donald Miller is so honest, as usual. With every few pages I found myself stopping the book in order to process through journaling. Miller's honesty excites me, as I have thought about many of the topics he covers, but didn't quite know how to express them. If you are struggling to move beyond religion, or think you may just be doing things based on how you have always done them, you need to read this book. Definitely helps to open yourself up to know God for who He is rather than our preconceptions.

He shares in such unique styles which impacted my view of how life is more than just what we can see, the relationship between obedience and longing for God, heaven, and our confusion of how we think about time and memories.

This book gives you so many new perspectives. Not only is it an interesting read, but each chapter makes you think about something that affects your life. If you couldn't get into it the first time, give it another chance. I did, and I was hooked. Lots of good quotes you will want to write down from it.
