I've seem to be more critical when it comes to bands that have a woman as a lead singer, so when i began listening to this band, i was skeptical at first, but wow, they completely hit the mark. The album kind of hits as sorts of genres of music. I really enjoyed it. A new favorite for me.

So, I really didn't enjoy the album, but the song 'Voices in the Night' stayed with me. It was good and different. Then I heard the song Lights Out, the title track form this album. It was good, in the same vein as 'voices...' but different a bit. Then I listened to this album. Wow, I was not expecting to be listening to it over and over, but I am. It has songs that are similar to the 'Voices' track, but then has a few other great worship songs, such as 'With the Angels and 'Found in You'. The song 'War' tops the album off with a new experience vibe. A great follow up album. Enjoy the ride.
Hawk Gone Pop | Posted March-26-2013
I'm still a fan of Hawk Nelson, but I feel as each album has gone forward, I hear more pop and more country, though it's more of a country voice than actual sound. They used to be more punk and I miss those days. This album isn't bad, but it's more in line with their last album. It's catchy and i'm sure will be something that will get radio play, but I prefer a bit more edgy. I'll probably listen to it for a while, but no song really jumps out as something that has the lasting power of some of their older stuff.

I'd never heard of these guys before, but decided to give them a try since it was a free preview. The first song catches you right in and gives a great example of what they are. It has a feel almost like Owl City, but instead takes a much less pop/kid friendly tune and goes down a rock road. I definetely enjoy them. Give them a try.

This crew is amazing. I've been following Reach Records since they started and this album does not fail. If you enjoy Lecrae, you will definetely enjoy KB. I feel that it has a great mix of styles and definetely adds some variety to the normal rap game. Enjoy this album!
Decent Adventure | Posted July-10-2012
The beginning of the album is rather good, but towards the end it seeems to take a change and not a change for the good. The themes and songs seem to drag and get slow. House of Heroes have always had a unique blend of music, but since the album starts off really well, I was hoping they could continue that trend throughout, but they fall a bit short. But even with that, there are a few songs that are really well done.

This album is amazing. It amazes me how far you guys have come. You're still able to rock out with the best of them and don't seem to be slowing down at all. I love the fact that you've gotten harder over time. There is such a differenece between you and your alternative band (fm static). I hope to see you guys live when you are the lead act. I bet your show is amazing.
