Good But.....Not Their Best | Posted April-09-2008
Great songs but.....they seem to be a bit on the generic side. The Tide Began To Rise is a phenomanal song and deserves much more attention. Undying has sweet guitar riffs throughout the track.
Best Song: The Tide Began To Rise

This Cd is incredible. Every track is strong(but one) and talent-filled musically. Jesse Sprinkle(Ex Demon Hunter, Poor Old Lu, A Cold Vein) does an excellent job at throwing in intricite drumming yet keeping it to simple rock. Pick this album up!
The only flaw if the track Animals. It seems mighty pointless.
Favoritye tracks: Everything but Animals

True Underoath | Posted April-09-2008
I love this album. I prefer Dallas's vocals anyday over Spencer's. This was Underoath's last emo album before they shifted to the punk oriented 'They're Only Chasing Safety'.
Its only flaw is the majority of the songs sound very similar(which is a problem on every Underoath album). Looking past that, its a Cd I never get tired of.

Punk I Like | Posted April-09-2008
I usually have a bad taste in my mouth after listening to punk music but Chasing Victory leaves me wanting more. while Wolves is a great song in many ways, my favorite has to be Janice due to its catchy chorus.

Excellent | Posted April-09-2008
Pillar's peak in my opinion. Rob has a great voice for transitioning back to melodies after a quick rap. Pick this up you love TRK's Set if Off.

I love this band and End Of Silence Is a great launching pad for them. You wont find anythng exceptional on it but you'll find it to be solid.

A Masterpiece | Posted March-04-2008
I was 14 and I had just found out that there was a christian music industry. As I was searching for something that stood out, I heard a sound. I was amazing at the grinding guitars, intricate drums and the dynamic vocals. This sound introduced me into music. I am forever indebted to it. Summer of Darkness is a beautifully dark CD filled with the contrast of growling and clean singing. The guest vocals on the album bring an even heavier edge than that Demon Hunter could of done(Beheaded). I love this cd and would recommend it to any Nu-Metal listener. I adore very track.
