This prequel was my favorite novel by Bryan Davis because there were so many new characters. Also the plot is very intriguing and has innumerable, unexpected twists and turns. Once again, Bryan Davis has melded fantasy, suspense, and absolutely amazing writing into one 600-page masterpiece.
