Another strong candidate for hard rock album of the year

It's been 4 years since Flyleaf's self titled debut album but I never became a fan of these guys until I listened to this new album Memento Mori. Flyleaf seems to carry this title's meaning well into the basics of the 14 songs found on here. For those of you who have no clue what this Latin phrase translates out to, it basically is this: Remember you will die. It's true. We all have to die at some point and flyleaf really brings that to the surface but amidst the heavy guitars and booming drums they also want the listener to live their life to the fullest. 2009 is almost at an end and this new album from Flyleaf is another one to add to my list of best albums of the year.
