By jjmelberg,
There's an expectation when you listen to a Gungor album that it's going to be great music, but also different.
Yes, different in a good way...a great way.
The Gungor concert experience is probably not going to be like the other concerts you've been too, and that's a good thing.
Their creative ability and talents are outstanding, but they don't go overboard with their creativity to where the unfamiliar sound is distracting or weird. On the other hand, it helps you experience God in a new and fresh way.
The different musical elements, from bluegrass to pop, blend perfectly on this album. It's so nice to hear some original music, and you can tell that's exactly what Gungor is trying to accomplish. We don't all worship God in the exact same way because we are all created differently, so why does "worship music" have to fit with a certain sound or method. It's obvious on this album that it doesn't. View All Music And Book Reviews By jjmelberg | View jjmelberg's Profile
