Nice mix of new and classic Christmas songs

As a lover of Christmas music, I really enjoy it when a Christian Artists add new spins to old songs, but I also enjoy the classics. I find this album has a nice blend.
Although I was not blown away with any one song, Brandon's smooth voice makes this album perfect for a night by the fireplace with a hot cocoa in hand. (After all your Christmas shopping is done, so you can enjoy it). Overall, his style is sort of folk ala Dan Fogerty. In one word, smooth.
My favorite song on the album is "Momma Wouldn't Lie to Me" which I just purchased on iTunes. A little bit folksy, I enjoy a good story and the tune is quite catchy. "Just a girl", about the Christmas eve story, is listed as the most popular on iTunes and is also quite wonderful as well.
Over all, this album is a nice blend of new and old, and you won't be disappointed and will make a nice addition to any Christmas music collection.
