Everything about this album says worship. All of the songs on this album are meant to draw you closer to God and help you to connect with Him. There are so many great songs on this album that can relate to everyday life. "Even When It Hurts" is cry of praise in the midst of sufferring or hardship. The song "Empires" is a song that reminds us of who we are compared to God; we are simply light and clay but are made to praise Him. The song then goes on to explain the great love of God in a new and fresh way. "Touch the Sky" is a song that reminds us that to really find life and touch the sky, we need to first lay everything down at the foot of the cross and fall to our knees. "Street Called Mercy" is a heartfelt cry to God thanking Him for welcoming sinners to Himself and loving them. It also has a powerful line of surrender built into it to rededicate ourselves to Him by saying that "I am yours forever now". "When I Lost My Heart to You (Hallelujah)" is a great song that emphasizes the feeling of giving your heart and life to God. All the songs on this album are lyrically very powerful and are meant to be anthems of worship in our daily lives. There are many more great songs on this album that I haven't mentioned but are still just as powerful as these songs. Great job on this album Hillsong, and I hope to see many more albums like this in the future. View All Music And Book Reviews By coupon_queen | View coupon_queen's Profile
