What You Need To Know:
Trinity was formed by three Dutch brothers who grew up in Peru as missionary kids. While they were growing up in Peru, they bartered for music lessons, and discovered the heart of Peruvian street music. Their childhood reflects much of their music, as they tie their Spanish background into the songs they sing.
What it Sounds Like:
Trinity brings a unique album to the table, with their eclectic and Spanish sounds. Trinity's music is much like Apollo LTD, but with more of a South American twist to it. Their new album has a vibrant feel throughout it, with "Anthem Of Love" driving more "fiesta" vibes, and the foot stomping "Wherever We Go" will give you a good idea of what Trinity's music is all about.
Spiritual Highlights:
Loving people is one of the biggest spiritual highlights in this album. 1 John 4:7 says, "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God." This album really reflects this verse, especially in the song "Wherever We Go" which sings, "'Cause people are people / Wherever we go / Thirsty for love / Hungry for hope / That's the song we're singing / Around the globe / 'Cause people are people / Wherever we go."
Best Song on the Record:
I think the best song on the record would have to be the final track, "Songs Of Life." It has a slower pace than the rest of the album, and is a beautiful way to wrap up the record. This song is simply a song singing to our Creator, and is about having hope for the future.
For Fans Of:
Apollo LTD, Land of Color, Curt Anderson
Final Word:
With this album, Trinity takes us on an adventure all across the globe. With it's cultural sounds, this is an album travel lovers across the world will enjoy. This album celebrates people being united together, under the banner of Jesus and love. It's about supporting each other, and being content with what we have, because Jesus is all we need.
