Thematically smart, traditionally reminiscent

Plumb delivers a thematically smart assortment of insightful music with all of the style and quality a devoted listener expects to hear when they put the album on the record player (as it were).
I personally like the driving songs that Plumb has produced in the past, but that style would not fit as neatly in the theme of this album. Like a sponge to a pool of water, this album pulls emotion from the listener's heart. Incorporating hymns, new songs and in a numinous and mysterious way, one finds that they disappear in each element of the music.
The instruments accent the gentle airy vocals. It targets a slightly different audience than some of her other albums, but as she says, she records the "thoughts and feelings and stories of where [she is] at the time". In a precious time of her life, Plumb passes the simplistic joy of the parent child relationship along in Blink - much like the Father in heaven smiles down on His little ones.
