So I just got the new album and I was really excited about it. I heard the hit single 'Hotel Aquarium' on the radio and couldn't wait to hear the rest of the album. My expectations were high and that can somewhat explain my disappointment. Falling Up's newest album, Captiva, is much like their other two albums but with a sound that is a bit more mature. 'Goodnight Gravity' and 'A Guide to Marine Life' were two of my favorites. Falling Up is mostly about sound to me, the vocals are just okay and the lyrics don't make much sense.
