For the Naysayers

Yes this is a mainstream rock album, and does have a lot of cookie cutter rock songs on it, but it is a good rock album with good cookie cutter rock songs. I'm not one who subscribes to the notion that as a Christian I should only listen to Christian music. If the music is good I'll listen to it. For those that question Daughtry's faith, while he doesn't outwardly put it into his lyrics, this is quote from the first line of the thank you's in the liner notes of the CD: "First off, I'd like to thank God for the gift of music and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for being the greatest example of LOVE I know."
P.S. "Home" was not written about being voted off American Idol, he wrote "Home" before he ever went on the show.
In Christ
