Down with the DC Talk

This album is the pinnacle in DC Talk' career. This is the album where they really found their true sound. The early pure rap stuff was kinda cheesy, then they started blending the rock in a little with "Free at Last", but then everything came together and just clicked with "Jesus Freak". It set the new standard for Christian Rock. This album along with Steven Curtis Chapman's "Speechless" were huge impacts on me in my journey towards Christ. The song "In The Light" felt like it was written about me, and "What If I Stumble" is still one of my all time favorite songs. I also have trouble even listening to "Day By Day" on the "Godspell" cast recording because I like DC Talk's version so much better.
In Christ
