By Magdalene,
Even though this is a solo album, it still sounds a lot like the last Number One Gun CD. Shneeweiss does do a good job on his own, though. It mostly contains your most basic rock, which isn't a bad thing. But I would say that the three slow songs on the album are the ones that stand out. They are really creative and different, and the whole sound is unique. I just wish he'd have applied some of this creativity into the other songs, as once again, they all sound quite similar. I really like Jeff's voice. It's really passionate and works well with both slow and harder songs. So although I still wish for a little more diversity in the songs, a pretty solid effort.
