Another amazing effort from one of the most important rock bands of our time

It's been a year and a bit since Anberlin gave us Cities which was one of the best albums of 2007. Now that they have been signed with Universal things can only go up for them and this new album shows just that. Producer Neal Avron (Yellowcard, Fall Out Boy) brings out the bands ability to rock out and deliver powerful messages through all that rocking out. Just like with Cities, each song on New Surrender has a special quality to it and the amazing lyrics by Stephen Christian only add to the lasting quality that is projected through the 45 minute running length.
