They Make Me Smile| Posted October 14, 2007
This album is my favorite Relient K album by far, it seems that every song is at its best. 'Who I Am Hates Who I've Been', 'Be My Escape', and 'Which to Bury, Us or the Hatchet' are my three favorites. The vocals are absolutely incredible and the lyrics are genius. I honestly think that Relient K really found their sound in this album. 'High of 75' and 'The One I'm Waiting For' are such cute songs and they make me smile. So, Relient K is pretty good, you should probably check them out.
Incredible CD. Good torture material as well. :-P (read for that deail)| Posted September 11, 2007
Yes: High of 75 causes one of my friends to cringe. Not because of the sound, but because she insists on not being hyper-happy like that. It's fun. :-D
The rest of the CD is awesome as well, and definitely in my "Most Played" list for good reason. This CD makes for a great traveling-to-Camp soundtrack as well. :-D

I really enjoy this cd. Every cd they put out it is like they mature more and more but still keep there "unserous nature".

Awesome album! "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been" was my favorite song! It's actually my new ringtone, which is even more awesome. Deffinitely an inspiring record by Relient K.

this cd actually dissapointed me..it was weird least to say...it just wasnt relient k.
i liked their tongue in cheek themes and puns and outright irony...the funny thing about this cd is how they came up with the title..they put different noises in a hat..on paper of course..and whatever they drew was it..and well..they dres mmhmm

Ahhh, Refreshing, Rockin’, Reliant K| Posted August 05, 2007
This CD is amazing. A terrific rock ballad "Who I am Hates Who I've Been", a strange, unique, and way cool "High of 75" and a song that everyone has needed to say in their own life "Which to bury? Us or the Hatchet" then the huge hit "Be My Escape" and a note-worthy "Let It All Out". Almost every song in the album deserves two thumbs up. It is filled with energy and excitement, great lyrics and good voices, Punk and Pop. I had liked Relient K a lot since I got their latest album "Five Score and Seven Years" But I'd have to say I LOVE Relient K now. Their punkish beat and Matt's voice puts the icing on the cake. I would mot definitely recommend this album to all of my friends . The only annoying thing of the whole album is that it seems like he ends a few rock songs in the same way. Getting close to the end of the song the band packs up their guitars and the drummer steps out for a coffee break while the song is finished with a slow piano melody. Which when I first heard it was great, it was really cool actually to see the nice and smooth transition, but then he did the exact same thing for like 3 more songs! Obviously they thought it was a cool idea too, and decided to make it a habit. But that is, like I said, the only annoying part of the whole album. This is definitely one of my favorite. And I am excited about getting their earlier CD's.
