More a creative collection of songs for personal worship than a CD of the next CCLI Top #40 tunes, "Songs from the Hope Farm" wears "indie" on it's sleeve. With obvious influences from artists like R.E.M., My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, & U2, as well as John Mark McMillian & Jake Hamilton, it's an interesting ride. Self-produced, self-engineered, & entirely done in-house, at least one can say it's a unique sound for a worship record. Highlights are "All in All (You're all I Need)", "Wandering Heart", "Quiet your Heart", & "Call me to Live".
