“What’s with the NAME?!“
A former Atheist, I was donned “Saint Lewis” by a circle of skeptic friends shortly after Jesus got ahold of me. Having played in various bands since I was 15, Saint Lewis became my artist name shortly after meeting my wife,Cyle Augusta, in ’02.
Currently as the Worship Pastor at CrossPointe Church in North Alabama (not far from Nashville, where I regularly co-write), I have previously served as an iternant worship leader for camps, chuches, and other ministries, as well as been Worship Pastor for seasons at Fondren Church (Jackson, MS), Riverstone Community Church (Jacksonville, FL), First UMC Encounter/Youth/Worship Pastor (Brunwick, GA), & Associate Worship Director at Community Church (St. Simons Island, GA), simultaneously while serving as the Summer Music Director for The Gathering Place.
I actually enjoy working with and training unseasoned worship leaders, musicians, and vocalists. Secondly, I am passionate about sharing Jesus with those who don’t yet know Him, especially youth!
Debut cd, SONGS FROM THE HOPE FARM, was released in 2010. Having released my worship-training eBook, Unseasoned: How to see Godly growth in an Inexperienced Worship Team, my sophomore worship CD, MORNING WILL COME featuring the single "Faithful One" dropped in '18, followed by "Northern Star (Don't want to get over You)", co-written with David Walker & Chris McClarney, in '23. I am currently finishing 3 upcoming Saint Lewis singles for release, as well as a handful of live & studio worship recordings with my cpcFamily Collective team at CrossPointe.
