Let it Raindeer| Posted January 14, 2008
Hey I thought that this album was OK. I was up in tears from laughing on the song where they are talking about random things. They are a great band but other than that they sometimes are boring I like some of there songs and some I could do without but that is just how I feel so don't critisize me on my spelling or my opinons. Thank you and good night!

Great Christmas CD!| Posted January 05, 2008
If you like Relient K and you like Christmas music, then you will enjoy this album. It is a good mix of new Christmas songs and classic carols. Some songs on this album were previously released on Relient K's "Deck the Halls, Bruise Your Hand." Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this album. Be sure and listen for the hilarious bonus track!
Should have been a Christmas EP| Posted December 07, 2007
I get real excited when bands of a more up beat style are going to do a Christmas Cd. I do miss the Tooth & Nail/BEC series of Happy Christmas CDs. So I was thinking, cool Relient K is doing another Christmas CD. But I was severely disappointed to get the Cd and there are only 6 actual songs that are actually new. Not that it's bad, I was just hoping for more. The bonus song, Good King Wenceslas is a bit weird, but funny too. It sounds like a Tiny Tim's Christmas song. You be surprised who else has done this song.
Anyway it's a great album all together, especially if you did not get, "Deck the Halls bruise your Hand." Also if you did not happen to hear the Narnia song, In Like a Lion, it's good to finally hear it. For the longtime Relient K fans it's not the best, but for the marginal fans, just getting to know them, it's great. No matter what it's a cool Christmas CD.
No I gonna go beg Brandon Ebel to make another Happy Christmas Album.
good cd| Posted December 06, 2007
wow! This cd was totally amazing. There was a perfect mix of serious and joke songs. The cd really put me in a christmasy mood and had me singing along to old classics instantly. I really think relient k has hit a home run with this one!
Relient K finds the Christmas spirit| Posted December 04, 2007
I think it's safe to assume that most people prefer the holiday choruses in their original packaging, untouched and unopened. While I agree that it's hard to beat the classics, I also have to maintain "Why try?" So with that said, go ahead and get a cup of lukewarm hot chocolate and put on your comfy easter slippers and enjoy Christmas, New Years, and even Boxing Day with Relient k.
Being a fan myself, I can't help but enjoy the punk/ jazz feel of the album. Songs like the smooth "Sleigh Ride", the short punkified "Deck the halls", and "We wish you a merry Christmas" which sounds like the "on your way out the door of the in-laws Christmas party" song...
...and now in parting, I have to let you listen to arguably the best two songs on the album, their own "Merry Christmas, Here's to many more" and the soothingly sweet "I Celebrate the Day".

Not a Lot of New Songs| Posted November 18, 2007
This CD is pretty good, but a lot of the songs on here can be found on previous Relient K CDs. For instance, "Angels We Have Heard on High," "Deck The Halls," "Twelve Days of Christmas," "Silent Night/Away in a Manger," "I Celebrate the Day," "We Wish You a Merry Christmas," "Santa Claus is Thumbing to Town," "Handel's Messiah (The Hallelujah Chorus)," "I Hate Christmas Parties" and "Auld Lang Syne" are all on Relient K's Deck The Halls, Bruise Your Hand CD, and "In Like A Lion (Always Winter)" was from their Apathetic EP. Altogether there are only 7 new tracks; 6 if you don't include "Auld Lang Syne (new ending)." Are 6 or 7 new tracks really worth the money spent on this CD? I don't think so. The only reason anyone should buy this CD for $10+ is if they don't already own Deck The Halls, Bruise Your Hand and Apathetic EP.
