The Chris Allen Band is a young, contemporary Christian band from the Houston, Texas area. Their goal is to put Christ first in their lives and in their ministry. Through their music, they worship and exalt God and pray that no one leaves a service without feeling like they have been in the presence of the Lord. Their new CD, Captured, contains original songs that express the heart of the band. It says in Romans 5:8, "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Whether we admit it or not, we are all a slave to something (desires, fame, money, relationships, etc.). We are slaves to whatever it is that we live for. Being a slave to anything but Christ is hopeless. When we completely surrender ourselves and live for Him, we become captivated by His love for us. When we experience the love of Christ, we have no choice but to be captured by Him.
