For whom does the bell toll?
For whom does it ring?
The children of God will see his face, and will sing,
And though I walk through valleys and shadows of death, I know that you are near me, and I will fear no evil.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want,
He makes me lie down in fields so green,
He leads me beside the waters so still,
He lifts up my soul when I grow weak,
He leads me in paths of righteousness,
All this he does for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through valleys of death, I will fear no evil.
Thou preparest a table in the presence of my foes,
He annointeth my head with oil, and my cup overflows,
And goodness and mercy shall follow me,
And I will dwell in the house of God forever.
Yea, though I walk through valleys of death, I will fear no evil.
For whom does the bell toll?
For whom does it ring?
The children of God will see his face, and will sing,
Though I walk through valleys and shadows of death, I know that you are near me, and I will fear no evil.
