The wrath of G-od was satisfied
For every sin, on Him was l-aid
Here in the death of Chr-ist I live
There in the ground, His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth, in glorious d-ay
Up from the grave He r-ose again
And as He st-ands in victory
Sin’s curse has l-ost its victory
For I am His, and He is m-ine
Bought with the precious bl-ood of Christ
No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Chr-ist in me
From life’s first cry, to final breath
Jesus controls my d-estiny
No power of hell, or scheme of man
Could ever pluck, me from His hand
‘Til He returns, and calls me home
