Season 14 of NBC's hit singing competition show The Voice will be featuring two familiar voices from Christian music: Jason Wilkes and Stephanie Skipper (formerly Smith).
Both artists announced that they had auditioned via Instagram images. "Guess who auditioned for @nbcthevoice?! This guy," Jason Wilkes shared on Instagram. "Don't miss the season premiere on February 26!"
"It's been so hard to keep it a secret!" Stephanie Skipper added in her post.
Jason Wilkes' diverse career has included fronting rock group High Flight Society, serving as bass player and backing vocalist for Disciple and most recently serving as a country/pop staff writer for Dan Hodges Music. Stephanie Skipper served as a solo artist under the name Stephanie Smith with Gotee Records. Her voice has also been heard in side project Copperlily with her husband Tim Skipper (House of Heroes).
Over the past few years, The Voice has risen through the ranks to become the most viewed singing competition on television. Season 14 will feature judges Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys and Kelly Clarkson.
