The Grizzly Awards, celebrating the best in Christian Rock and Metal from the past year, aired their first annual award special featuring live performances and winner announcements.
The live 2+ hour special featured performances by Disciple, Random Hero, All Above Me, Bayless, Adelaide, and Rusty Shipp. Individual instrumentalists of Seventh Day Slumber and Wolves At The Gate also gave solo performances. You can watch the entire show on-demand below or here on Facebook.
Winners and runner-ups were announced in 18 categories with Disciple leading the way with four wins including Modern Rock Album of the Year, Lyric Video of the Year, Best Guitarist and Best Album Art Design. Other winners included RED, Skillet, Comrades, Wolves At the Gate, Switchfoot and many more.
A virtual tip jar awarded five bands a $100 gift card to help with ongoing touring expenses. Fans nominated bands throughout the show and the winners were Gold Frankincense & Myrrh, All Above Me, Reclaim The Day, Wolves At The Gate and Comrades.
