Original Songs on a Compilation Album | Posted June-13-2015
I heard about this on a Christian music news website (not newreleasetoday.com). I looked into it as I live in the Midwest. It was nice to see a compilation album that was put together for an album to be sold at Pizza Ranch resturants. I've known for a while that the have a Christian base to the resturant. They are a sponser at The Lifelight Festival in Worthing, SD that is over Labor Day weekend. They also sponser other Christian concerts when they come in the area.
What I like a lot about this compilation is that all the songs are original songs by the many great Christian artists. The song theme is often hope which is why it is called Living Hope. I like all the songs on it. The Matthew West song Day One acoustic version is fun and like it just as much as the original recording you hear on the radio.
Get this album at your local Pizza Ranch or you can get the digital album at pizzaranch.com/livinghope. And it is only $5. Support this resturant that is living for Christ.

A Great taste of classic and original Christmas songs. | Posted December-23-2012
Josh Wilson is a great musician that plays multiple instruments. His albums have been a great mix of instruments and great vocals. Josh doesn't disappoint with his first full length Christmas album.
He starts out with a instrumental of the song "First Noel." I love hearing him play the acoustic guitar with no vocals on a song. His last album had instrumentals that were good.
"Jesus Is Alive" came out last year and is a great song that is played on the radio. It is catchy and you will find yourself singing it.
Next song "Go Tell It On the Mountain" is a fun arrangement of the classic Christmas song. It also has great vocals by Mandisa on it which makes it even better.
"Do You Hear What I Hear?" is done good and I love hearing him sing it.
"Christmas Changes Everything" and "Almost Christmas" are original songs that are fun and have great Christmas lyrics. It is always good to hear fresh new Christmas songs each year.
"O Come, O Come Emmanuel" is done well as a classic Christmas worship song. His vocal is good to hear on this song too.
"Carol Of the Bells" is a instrumental song that again he does the music well.
"Angels We Have Heard On High" is a great classic worship song that the music is arranged well and his vocal shines.
The last song "Once a Year" is a original song that Andrew Peterson sings on too. It asks wouldn't it be somehting/ If we all learned to love like It's Christmas/ More than once a year. I think about that often. We should love no matter what time of the year it is.
What I liked about this Christmas album is it has both good arrangements of classic Christmas songs and great lyrics on original Christmas songs. It also has two good instrumental Christmas songs. Pick this one up if you haven't yet. It's a good one.

Many great artists and polished music production. | Posted October-01-2011
Nicole Nordeman does a good job writing the lyrics for this album. I like that the album will point people to Scripture and help them see that that is the most important thing for them to read as a Christian.
What I didn't like about it was that some of the artists sang songs that they didn't write the lyrics. The Chris Tomlin song is very good and was a great song for him to sing as he is a modern day psalmist. This is a song that I'm going to download.

A live CD/DVD that sounds as good as a studio recording. | Posted June-20-2011
Thousand Foot Krutch has been one of the top Christian rock bands of the 21st century. They have come out with great rock songs like "Puppet," Rawkfist," "Move," "The Flame In All Of Us," "Falls Apart," and more recent ones "Bring Me to Life," and "Fire It Up."
To bring the energy and sharpness to a live recording is hard to do when you hear the studio recordings because they are polished so well. TFK does great job making these songs sound even better then the studio recordings. Trevor's voice is strong thourghout the whole set and it shows the gift God has given him. He must take care of his voice well because it sounds very good. A rock lead singer can often put a lot of tension on his voice because of the style. The DVD was great and sounds good in surround sound so watch it on that if you can. The crowd gives the set more energy also.
When an artist can sound just as good as their recordings or better it shows that they are a talented artist that knows how to sing and play well. TFK has been one of my favorite music artist and it is good to see them put out a excellent live recording and DVD. They are in my prayers often and it is good seeing God's hand on them.
TFK keep up with the great music and creativity.

A step up from their last two albums. | Posted November-29-2009
I was looking forward to this new TFK album. I first got the song "Bring Me To Life" on the feedthebeat.com Taco Bell website. I then heard "Fire It Up" on their myspace. I then saw them in concert at The Lifelight Festival and knew it was going to be a good CD. The last two albums were good but I didn't like it as much as I like the Phenomenon album. On this album the music is good. The guitars are emphasized more and are sound great. Trevor's vocals have never sounded better. Having Aaron Sprinkle as their producer was a good idea. He also produced the Phenomenon album.
Nice work on a great album that I hope and pray does well.

Honest Worship Lyrics | Posted August-29-2009
This is a great new album by this band. What I like the most about this album is that the lyrics are very real and honest. I believe the music and lyrics will really connect with people because of this. Be ready to worship God as you listen.

The lyrics stand out. | Posted October-27-2008
This is a new group that has come out. With so many groups and singers coming out what makes this group stand out is their lyrics. The lyrics are focused on Christ and how we need to put ourselves aside and put our trust and hope in Him.

Great modern worship music. | Posted October-27-2008
I got this CD because it had all the great songs that Hillsong United has wrote and played. It is cool to see the different places they played these songs. I've seen the DVD that just came out and it is really good. Check it out.

The lyrics, the beats. Awesome. | Posted September-13-2008
After hearing this album a few times it is a great album. The music beats on the album are catchy and good. The lyrics of the songs are from the heart and are inspiring. For this album they got Tedd T. (Rebecca St. James) to produce it. It is pop music but has a nice rock edge to it too. I like the instrumental tracks that lead into the next song. The last instrumental track is over 4 minutes and is a good ending to a great album.

Fun rock that has some pop to it. | Posted August-18-2008
I first heard about this band was when they got signed to Tooth and Nail records. I checked out their myspace and downloaded a song they had available on their myspace. I loved the song (Can I Get An Amen)and knew that their album would be good when it came out on tooth and nail records. I saw them live and they are good live.
The songs I really like are "Worth As Much As A Counterfeit Dollar," "Out Of Control," "Remember The Day, "The Night Of Your Life Is When You'll Die," and "Frank Morris."
The lead singer has a unique voice that stands out. I would say their music sounds like if you mixed Anberlin's music and Stellar Kart's music together. Great music. This album is worth buying.
