Its always sad to see your favorite bands quit. Audio Adrenaline quitting last year left a huge void in pop/rock bands that are not ashamed to be bold and evangelical while still rocking the masses. We...
The Blood by Kevin The Blood by Kevin
Most of the time when artists put out an album that is meant for another decade it ends up sounding very poorly timed and cheap to say the least especially when the album is almost entirely covers. Kevin...

great worship rock! | Posted September-08-2007
I love this cd, it shows how much Building 429 has matured! Its a great combination of pop rock and worship! The lyrics are amazing! The music is awesome! My favorite song is the redone version of the hymn "Grace That is Greater". This is definitely the best Building 429 album so far!

This is a good best of album of one of Christian music's finest teen pop girl bands. If you already own all their cds this album is probably not neccassary to own. But if you would like to be introduced to some happy, upbeat girl teen pop music with awesome vocals and great lyrics then give this cd a chance!

The best pop/rock album of the decade | Posted August-23-2007
Step Up to the Microphone is not just a good or great album, its one of those career defining albums that really put the Newsboys on the map to become one of the greatest Christian rock bands of all time. Step Up To The Microphone is one of the most brillant albums (not just Christian albums but albums) to be released in the past 10 years. Its so solid. The lyrics portray amazing imagery. The music is incredible. Lots of string instruments make up the background music yet it still has a very rock and roll flare. There are slower soft songs such as the underated The Tide and Always and faster loud songs like Deep End, and Step Up To The Microphone. The main overlying theme of the album is to step out in faith believing God will use us to be a light to a dark world. The Newsboys do a great job of following through this theme in a creative way. Everyone should own this album!

genuine... | Posted August-19-2007
People are always looking for genuine, honest art. Nate Sallie's is the real deal on this amazing album! I encourage to find a copy of the companion book Ruined for the Ordinary and read along while you listen to the songs! It captures an honest journey of an artist going deeper with his Savior! Nate Sallie is a very fresh original voice in Christian music. He balances piano-driven pop and rock and roll very nicely on this album. This one is definitely worth checking out!!!

Jessie Daniels a suprise hidden gem debut.... | Posted August-19-2007
I work in the Christian music industry so I hear A LOT of new music each day, week, month, and year. Jessie Daniels is one of the most pleasant recent suprise artists I've encountered. I heard a few of her songs on air and they really got stuck in my head, then I acquired the album and listened to it all the way through. It really rocks! She's fresh, young, rockin', encouraging! She's one of my favorite chick rockers in Christian music right now! Young people would love this one! Her songs are so catchy! She has a great vocal range! I love every song on this album! I hope you will take the time to check out this awesome up and coming artist for yourself!

Jeremy Camp matures... | Posted August-19-2007
This cd is amazing! Jeremy Camp is a talent amazing artist who gives all the glory to God. This cd really shows how much Jeremy has matured musically since he began without leaving his stadium rock roots and still maintaining the praise and worship side. Beyond Measure is a phenomenal balance of rock and worship. This cd has slow songs, soft songs, loud songs, a little bit of everything. The lyrics are so meaningful! I love it and highly recommend it!

awesome, very original. album | Posted August-13-2007
Word of Mouth is an awesome album! It mixes hip hop, rap, rock, pop, and indie music all together. Its original, heartfelt, and very catchy. I would recommend this to anyone but especially anyone looking for something unique and fun. My favorite songs are Make Money and Word of Mouth. You will have these songs stuck in your head for months! John Reuben's lyrics are fun but make you think, Reuben's music is definitely fun!!!

Stellar Kart: the best of pop punk | Posted August-09-2007
I typically don't like pop punk bands. Stellar Kart is the exception to that, instead of just singing stupid break-up and love songs Stellar Kart sings witty, spiritually uplifting and challenging songs. Much of this is thanks in part to their amazing producer Ian Eskelin. Ian is known for his sarcastic sense of humor and the irony he uses in his songs. The music to this pop punk album is at least up to par with Relient K, Fall Out Boy, etc. Its a great album. Teens are sure to love it, but there is also enough here for adults to get something out of it as well. If you are to buy one pop punk album, I recommend this to be the one....
