Love Out Loud

Jaci I was highly anticipating this latest album from Jaci. Her recent albums have disappointed me (ever since Crystal Clear), but I was hoping this album would be Jaci's big comeback. With Jaci's...

The Greatest Hits

Newsboys When I first saw the Newsboys was putting out yet another greatest hits album, I thought, why bother? There are too many "greatest hits" albums from artists in the marketplace, recycling old material...
This is an album for AA lovers | Posted August-29-2007
This cd of Audio Adrenaline's last concert is a good representation of an Audio Adrenaline concert, and dedicated fans of Audio Adrenaline will definitely want to add it to their collection. I would have expected a longer concert with maybe a few more older songs, however with thirteen songs and a few speaking interludes, it becomes a decent-sized and normal length concert. One of the biggest downfalls of this album...and it pains me to say it...is that sometimes the vocals are off-key. You most likely wouldn't be able to discern this at a loud concert, but on a cd player it comes through. Mark's voice is also painfully fading, however he survives this one last concert. I enjoyed listening to this momentous concert in Audio A's career though and am extremely glad they documented it for us fans who could not be there.
Good but not great | Posted February-21-2008
This is probably my least favorite Audio Adrenaline album. I expected more from them after such great rock albums like Underdog and Lift. UMHCI steps away from the gritty rock and incorporates more radio friendly/AC sounds, perhaps due to the higher usage of Tyler's vocals with Mark's trademark voice waning. "Undefeated" and "Clap Your Hands" are, however, reminiscent of the rock that Audio A usually has while "Starting Over" and the title track are beautiful melodic ballads. This is not Audio A's best but is still worth listening to.

This album is different from Switchfoot's other album and at first took me by surprise. It took awhile for me to get used to the different sound, but after several times of listening, it grew on me. Switchfoot fuses their instruments together to accompany their rock songs, and while they aren't particularly radio friendly, Switchfoot has once again created a great album.
Skillet's best yet | Posted August-13-2007
This album comes in a long line of albums, however this album is my favorite one yet. It is strong both musically and lyrically, yet the production is the key aspect for me. It enhances this album beautifully and avoids songs that sound shallow and similar. Skillet can deliver both great rock songs and moving anthems. This album is definitely worth listening to and purchasing!
