The Long Fall Back To Earth by Jars Of Clay The Long Fall Back To Earth by Jars Of Clay
Good Monsters had a good number of great songs and the newest release from Jars of Clay follows the same pattern. My personal favorite is Headphones because it speaks to a sin that many of us have yet...
The Hope That Lies In You by The Glorious Unseen The Hope That Lies In You by The Glorious Unseen
I give this 5 stars because it is just about as good as Tonight The Stars Speak, which is easily my all-time favorite worship album. These guys are just so open, honest, and stripped down in their worship....
A Beautiful Life by Jason Allen A Beautiful Life by Jason Allen
Jason Allen Rich's debut album/EP definitely has the sound for a contemporary christian worship artist. On some songs I would compare him a little bit to Jeremy Camp and even somewhat to MercyMe. Musically...

My favorite norma jean album | Posted September-05-2008
Josh Scogin was awesome in Norma Jean, this by far their best album. Then Scogin left and Norma Jean just wasn't as good any more. This is a great album
I generally hate Aaron Weiss's vocals but they're ok on Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste

I love this book, it's my favorite Dekker book! The mix of action, comedy, and romance is great. The main characters are interesting and fun and the storyline is intriguing This is one of my all time favorite books.

My favorite | Posted August-30-2008
This is my favorite underoath album. The music isn't generic and typical like a lot of the new stuff "underoath" plays now, the lyrics are straight forward, and the vocals are rougher.

Good original underoath | Posted August-30-2008
This is agood album. Before Underoath decided to sound like a million other bands, they released a couple albums that were very metalcore, this one having a bit of death metal involved. I prefer Cries of the Past more, but this is good too

Just got this | Posted July-31-2008
Another solid album from Third Day. Not amazing, but not bad in any way. The only reason I've liked Third Day for so long is simply because I love Mac Powell's vocals. The music isn't anything new or groundbreaking and the lyrics are good but seem to sound the same after a while and at times cliché. This isn't saying that I don't like Third Day, I do and I'm glad I got this album, I just think Third Day is barely keeping my attention and keeping themselves from falling in with the boring typical CCM crowd. But this is still a solid album, probably one of the better contemporary christian albums of the year.

My personal favorite | Posted July-26-2008
This album is my favorite third day album. The 2nd I bought by them, I loved every single track first time I listened to it. My favorite "new" track is Offering but I like all of them. I like this selection a lot more than Offerings 1

Amazing album | Posted July-18-2008
This is by far Switchfoots best album. They took a break from the completely radio friendly pop/rock stuff on Beautiful Letdown and let Jon Foreman make some honest songs. I could have done without songs like Stars and Politicians because they don't seem as honest as the rest of the album and feel like they were only made for radio plays.

The Blues and Happy Is A Yuppie word are by far my favorite songs. With brutal honesty Jon Foreman delivers some beautiful lyrics and messages. No more sugar coating stuff, this stuff is just 100% real. Jon Foreman needs to do more solo EP's and Switchfoot needs to make more albums like this.

Really great | Posted May-06-2008
I first heard Jonny Diaz when he offered his song "Hold Me" for free on his myspace and I loved his music. This cd is extremely good. Favorites: Never Know You, Other Guys, 11:59. Never Know You hits so close to home, its by far my favorite.

Not great, not terrible. | Posted April-28-2008
Definitely one of the better powerpop/punkish bands out there. I'm not a huge fan but they aren't bad. This album is ok, not good but not bad. I like the songs Captives Come Home and the title track

Utterly amazing | Posted April-24-2008
This is by far the best cd i've heard this year. Thrice is quickly becoming my favorite band and with albums like this who wouldn't like them. Every song is amazing, but my favorites are Daedalus, Digging My Own Grave, and The Lion and the Wolf.
