This album was different then I expected but in alot of ways its better then I expected. The girls really show off their vocal abilities on Home for Christmas and its impressive. Alyssa Barlow especially...
Sex is Not the Problem; Lust is by Adriana Sex is Not the Problem; Lust is by Adriana
I really appreciated the reverence he took with this subject but at the same time He was straight forward and left no grey areas when it comes to purity and what it really means to be pure not just abstinent....

as good as it gets! | Posted February-07-2008

California-a really fun song about going to where the sun is always shining!

Every Little thing-This song still makes go "awe" cause its so sweet! I love him singing about finding a righteous girl who inspires him to be better.

This to me is the best Crowns CD. I love how they speak out with their lyrics and what they say is so so true in so many instances.

Does anybody here her is one of the songs that really struck a chord with me because they put it perfectly when they talk about judging someone before you even know them, what they have been through, or how much they need a loving savior! Who are we to deny people the love of Jesus Christ?? It is a great song!

While you were sleeping is another great song and I love its lyrics so much!! I don't want to be sleeping when he comes again!

Praise in this storm is emotional for me because I know what its like to say Amen and its still keep raining but I love how the song says I will lift my hand and praise the god who gives and takes away.AMEN!

A great album with great songs full of so much truth! More could you want???

One of my favorite albums ever! | Posted February-05-2008
My best Friend burned this CD for me back when it first came out and ever since then it remains one of my absolute favorite Albums for so many reasons! I remember my reaction to it was that it was so great to have songs about real issues that all teen girls struggle with. Songs about Purity,Modesty,Low Self Esteem and Idolizing Celebrities.

I loved and still love BG's stance of Anti-conformity using the scripture Romans 12:2 as the basis for their message to the youth of this generation.

the entire album is a gem but my favorites are...

Never Alone-The First BG song i ever heard and I love its message and the way its arranged musically.
"I Trust The Unseen" << That says it all!

Mirrior-A gorgeous song with an even more beautiful message of what real beauty is and who defines it!This song has helped me more then I can say! It was inspired by Becca Barlow's Struggle with Eating Disorders and Its really awesome to hear her share her testimony about how she was healed from them by the grace of god.

She Walked Away-I love the all around sound of this song and again I love its message. This song is proof of the Girls talent for genuinely good song writing.

Average Girl-This song was and is my anthem in so many ways! Although I do not entirely agree with their stance on zero dating I love the idea that god is writing my love story!

Like i Said this is one of my favorite albums ever because all the songs have helped me and continue to help me to do as Romans 12:2 says because I don't want to conform to this world!!

I love this album so much! I've been a big RK fan for years and this album was no disapointment. I love how much fun Relient K has with their music! You can tell by listening to it how much fun they had doing it! This album is the most Lovely dovey of the RK albums but the love songs happen to be some of my favorites on the album especially the songs The best thing,Must have done something good, and I'm taking you with me.

Spiritually its not as strong as past albums but I'm impressed with the song Deathbed and its message of eternal forgiveness.

Overall I really enjoy this album maybe not as much as I enjoy mmmhmmm but its still great!

even better then i was expecting! | Posted February-05-2008
Santus Real makes quality music and thats a fact! I loved listening to this album and was pleasently surprised by how good it is! A sign for me that an album is good is if there are songs on it that are better then the radio single and this album definately had those for me!

I love how strong the spiritual content of the entire album is! Very profound and awesome stuff they sing on the album and thats what Is most enjoyable for me that and I love the lead singers voice tremendously! He has a really great rich quality to his voice that is impressive.

This is definately an album I'll consider buying!!

powerful! | Posted January-31-2008
I don't regret buying this CD for a second! I really love it! The songs just flow together with a message of bold faith with a statement to this world that we don't need what it feeds us! I enjoy the entire CD but the highlights for me are...

Hearts of The Innocent-I love the message of this song about how messed up society is and how its the youth that are paying for it. The musical quality is great because lets face it Kutless knows how to rock!

Shut Me Out-I love this song!! Its is the hardest rock song on the album and what i love is despite how hard rock it is the message is still delivered and understood loud and clear. I love the approach of fearless missionary work and having that out look of what i have to offer is the truth so i will never back down and shut my mouth!

Smile-This is my favorite song on the album. John micah summerall sings it so well. He has this incredible talent for singing with reverence when he needs too and in this song he really sings beautifully and you can just hear how much his heart is in this song. Its the "sea of faces" of the Hearts album. I really do agree that a Smile really can say it all.

Promise of a lifetime-What a powerful song! I love its message more then anything and we can all relate to that feeling of feeling lost or confused but knowing we have our fathers eternal promise that he will never leave us. Again John sings it perfectly!

I love Hearts of the Innocent and I am eagerly anticipating their new album because they have a great talent for knowing when to rock and when to worship and I think thats something that some Christian rock bands don't do so well so i have a lot of respect for Kutless because they leave no question about who and what motivates their music and they walk the line between spiritual and entertaining seamlessly.

I bought the album simply because i have been so strongly moved by the song East to West. What a powerful and extremely moving song! I cannot say enough good things about that song because its simply great!! The album as a whole is good and the songs that stand out for me are Slow Fade,The word is alive, and The altar and the door. It amazes me that they do music part time and mainly work as youth pastors yet they have had tremendous success and this album has been on the top of the charts not just in Christian music but as far as album sales go in general. That is absolutely amazing and so is their music for that matter! They are one of the best bands in Christian music and i know they've got more amazing music to make!

great album! | Posted January-30-2008
I really enjoy all of BarlowGirl's music and this CD is no exception. Its very good and all the songs are enjoyable and have a great real message.

my favorites are...

Grey-This song literally rocks!! Its great musically and the lyrics are equally powerful. I love its message of the need for absolutes in this life. We cannot be Grey! We must stand out and stand for the right!

Let Go-I enjoy this song and its message is simple but so true "let go and live what you believe"

I need You to love me-I can fully understand why this song made so many waves on christian radio because it is a great song and without a doubt one of the best BG songs. I think we all can fully relate to that feeling of wonder over how our father in heaven can love us so much even in our sins.

take me away-Musically this is one of my favorite songs on the whole album and its message of not letting us be distracted from the savior we so desperately need to have is so true and real for all of us. We need to have him with us always and we cannot afford to let anything lessen our sight of him and his glory in our lives!!

My gods enough-Another great BG song and i really love what Todd Agnew brings to the table in this song. Its very powerful both musically and lyrically. I love what it says about how we still suffer even though we believe but we cannot lose faith in our god no matter how rough things get.

5 minutes of fame-A very fun song to listen too and it has a unique sound in the way that the instruments are arranged and also the way it is sang. Without a doubt the funnest song on the album!

extended edition:
I really love the acoustic versions on Never Alone and On my own!! I also really enjoy their rendition on the hymn For The Beauty of The earth because they sing it pretty reverently and stay true to the spirit of the hymn while still giving it their own twist.

BG is the best! | Posted January-30-2008
first off i love BarlowGirl which may make my opinion biased when it comes to their music but i am not being biased when i say How Can We Be Silent is a great album and a great achievement for the girls.

What i love about BG is they are not afraid to write and sing about the things that they are so passionate about and they make no apologies for their bold out look on what it means to have faith and share that faith strongly. The album title speaks for itself. How Can We Be Silent when a fire burns inside us???

In the DVD they really go indepth about their writing process and what really inspired each song on the album. I loved hearing them share their passion for their music and their ministry. They really do have so many awesome things to say about where heavenly father has took them in their lives and in their music.

My olny regret about the DVD is that it is not longer and i think they should have had them playing some songs live in the studio or do some acoustic, that would have been awesome but still as a whole i enjoy the DVD and i absolutely love the album and listen to it often.
