Hawk Nelson did not dissapoint their friends with "Hawk Nelson Is My Friend".
Comming off of their previous releases "Letters to the President" and "Smile..." this album has a much punkier sound but it also has a few slower tracks, making for a pretty good mix of songs. "Zero" is my favorite one by far; but the acoustic duet of "One Little Miracle" with Amy Grant comes in at a close second. This is a great release and definetly worth a listen.

Don't believe what others have said! | Posted June-23-2008
I pre ordered this from MusiChristian.com and I actually got it today, the day before it came out.
Several other sites gave this one a so-so review but it's one of my favorite Kutless albums. It has the great vocals and spiritual lyrics I've come to expect from this group. "The Desease & The Cure" along with "Complete" are two of my favorite songs on this recording. It's true that a few songs have a slower sound than the rest but all in all this is my favorite summer release so far!

I first heard this group on XM Radio's The Torch. With the first listen I just had to find this album. Red has such a powerful sound. And their awesome vocals along with good lyrics and drums. This is definetly worth several listens.

Worth a listen! | Posted June-21-2008
I recieved the download "Alive" free from the Superchick website. And after listening to it a few times, I decided to download "Rock What You Got EP" from Itunes and pre-order the full album. These songs are upbeat and true to the usual Superchick sound. The lyrics are powerful and relateable. I think this album could move up the list to become my favorite Superchick album ever. A great listen, and definetly worth checking out.

This is one of my favorite cds ever! I love Flyleaf's unique sound and their lyrics are very uplifting. I think the acoustic songs add a cool touch to this edition. A wonderful listen!

Ron Luce know how to reach the lost and dying generation with "Battle Cry for My Generation". By using war-like refrences to illustrate the spiritual and carnal war this current generation is fighting, Luce makes "Battle Cry" more vivid to the reader. This book is for anyone who wants to know how to minister to and reach friends, family, and anyone who needs to know Christ.

When I first starting reading this book I wasn't for sure Donald Miller was on the right track. But as I continued reading, Miller used everyday things and instances to relate to Christian spirituality. His thoughts and writings make it easy to understand the circumstances in the church world today. He even makes refrences to faults in his own life and points out faults within the church as a whole. His perspective is fresh and upbeat. If you only read one book this year, make this the one you read.

At the surface FireFlight looks like another Amy Lee/Evanescence copycat. But one "preview" listen to "Unbreakable" and my perspective changed. The songs' lyrics are powerful and moving. This band rocks with passion and it shows in this album. I would recommend this to anyone who likes good christian rock music.

This album is the first I heard of Run Kid Run. And I must say that I really liked what I heard. This album has a very upbeat sound and the lyrics to the songs are really spiritual. The songs "Freedom" and the beginning track "Rescue Me" are my two favorites.

Amazing. | Posted June-18-2008
This is the first Superchic[k] album that I ever bought. I wasn't so sure I liked their sound in the beginning but one listen to this record and I was changed forever. The title song 'Beauty from Pain' is the best one yet!
