I've had the opportunity to see SDS live early on in their carrer and I must say that the progression over the years has been great. As far as I'm concerened this their best non-worship project release. Each song seems to have been written for individual situations of the listner, I especially liked Addicted to My Pain, it was ver y relateable. I we be recommending this new release from SDS to my friends.

As a father of two teenage girls and a sponser of the 6th - 8th grade youth group at our church I have alawys liked BarlowGirls for their relevant lyrics and the rock sound is great.
Unfortunatly they have messed with their sound and it has ditracted me from the lyrics and I'm not sure where they we're heading with One More Round, they need to leave the blues to artists like Todd Agnew that have always played that style.
Sorry girls I love you, but I don't love this disc.

Phenominal | Posted August-02-2007
I must start with the fact that I picked this disc up last December and my oldest daughter got her hands on it and I picked up my own copy in January.
The title track is so moving that you are literally pulled into the waves of sound and touched by the powerful words of each successive track. Some of the major stands out songs beyond the title track for me are, Tears of the Saints, Too Much and How Wonderful.
Leeland Moorings song writing is phenomenal for a guy so young, and the fact that he has helped Michael W. Smith with writing for his latest project is just a huge statement of respect from one of the godfathers of Christian music.

Awsome Worship CD | Posted August-01-2007
I've been a fan of Kutless for many years and when I heard they were putting out a worship project I didn't hesitate to pick it up sound unheard (like sight unseen).
I have enjoyed this CD immensely and every time I update my MP3 Player this CD remains in the mix.
I play it often at youth group and have used some of the songs during the worship portion of our evening.
I especially like Better Is One Day, Word Of God Speak, Arms Of Love, and can see Strong Tower being added to many church worship teams weekly rotations, a definite future classic.
A must for the Kutless fans CD collection.

I was driving down the road one day with my 7 year old soon and "Drifter" came on the radio and he was singing along word for word, based on that alone, I had to check out the rest of the CD.
All I can say is wow, December Radio managed to touch on many different musical styles which is either a statement of background or a testament of ability from above.
I had a good feeling of the radio readiness of "The Least of These" and "Table". Beyond these songs I have latched on to a couple of other tracks that I really like "Greed", "Razor" and "Dangerous"
This CD is definitely worth a listen.

impresive | Posted July-13-2007
I'm quite impressed with the musical abilities of Aaron Gillespie. Not only did he write the songs he plays most of the insturments with the exception of some guitar work by producer Aaron Sprinkle and some other string and horn work on a few other songs.
While this is not as hard as the music of his other band Underoath (no screming), it is just as good and maybe even better.
I also think it should be a requirement for every Christian artist to do their own take on Amazing Grace. Aaron's version "Amazing Because It Is" pretty much sums Gods grace right up.
Other noteable songs are "Dirty and Left Out", and "Say This Sooner".
Hint to program directors, give it a listen and let the rest of us heat it too.

Lifegiver | Posted July-11-2007
There sure was a lot of pre release hype for this hyper Static Union's first disc Lifegiver. It all revolves around the producer Mac Powell and a belief that he wouldn't put his time and talent to a project if he didn't think it was worthwhile.
Unfortunately I think he may have found a one hit wonder. The one hit is Praying for sunny days. It got a lot of radio play but really isn't that spectacular.
Perhaps the next effort will produce less hype and better result.

Must hear | Posted July-11-2007
If you're already a fan of Building 429, you have to give this a listen to. If you not you have to give this a listen to.
As with their previous cds, pretty much every song could find Contemporary Christian radio sucess.
The lyrics are definatley from God, every song touches a different spiritual emotion or subject. Especialy like Majesty and New Season.

Updated, change of heart | Posted August-10-2007
At firstI was very disappointed with the latest release from a fun band that I have enjoyed for years.
After listening through a few more times Ive had a bit of a change of heart, while I'm not 100% in love with the disc I have come to like some of the songs a bit more.
I still stand my dislike of Fakeing My Own Suicide and Deathbed, as far as Pleading the Fith and Crayons, they are just those quirky llittle space wasters that have become a norm for this band.
IF your new to the band you'll like it and I encourage you to hunt for previous discs to se where this band came from.
