Different can be good. | Posted September-25-2010
The Shelter comes off at first as the Jars of Clay version of City on a Hill with Jars as the backup band for the whole album. All the guest vocalist bring a very different feel and sound to this record. It takes a few listens to listen through all the different layers and vocals on the album and start to enjoy this record. Many fans will be disappointed with the album at first but keep listening and you will find this album growing on you and you growing to love it.

Surpised | Posted September-18-2010
I down loaded this album from noisetrade.com and was very surprised by how good it is. It was one of the first full band/worship albums available on the site with great music and great production. The songs are really good and ready for most church's. If you have the chance get this record you will like.

A Good EP | Posted September-18-2010
Finally I have gotten this album after the 77s put their music up on the web for download. I like this ep I think better than the ep, EP. This has that classic 77s sound and smart lyrics. If you have ever liked the 77s pick this one up.

This will make you Move | Posted September-18-2010
Third Day bring us their first studio album since Revelation. There is much anticipation for this album of the great success in almost every aspect of Revelation to see if they could do it again. Did they well, Yes. Though not quite as good as Revelation, Move keeps to progression moving. The First track and single Lift up you face is great and as one of the best album intro's of all time. The only aspect I didn't care for on the album is a few songs have a decidedly country sound and feel to them which I do not care for. Mac Discovers his falsetto voice and the band brings it on every track of the album. If you like Third day you will love this album if you gave up on them after Wherever You Are as just another CCM Pop filler band then it is time to take another look at Third Day.

Not close but right on. | Posted September-18-2010
After Southern Hospitality most fans of Disciple where disappointed. So I was excited for the release of Horseshoes & Handgrenades to see if they would return to the hard rocking greatness. They did not disappoint. This album does a great job of melting you face off from the first (radio friendly) track on. Don't let the fact that Christian pop stations are playing the first single as the album pushed forward into heavier and harder sounds and you do deeper. A great return to form and a must have for rock fans.

A Solid Return | Posted September-18-2010
The first thing that hit me when listening to this album was, Hey this is way better than their last album. The production is better the music and better and the lyrics are great. This album has held my attention for the past few days and seems to keep getting better and better to me. The first track rocks it in you face then chills out some and the album progress on from there. I recommend this album to anyone who likes a good rock band.

A good Album | Posted September-18-2010
With that said this album is not as solid as Today is the day. The first few songs have a real country vibe to them in vocal style, arrangement and harmony but thankfully with out the country instrumentation. I am not a country music fan so this fact kind of to that part of the album. Over all it is a very generic release. Nothing really stuck out to me on the album as being great but nothing stuck out as really bad either. If you are a fan of Lincoln pick up the album to continue your collection and enjoy this new batch of songs.
