Different can be good. Posted September 25, 2010 By captainkirk76,
The Shelter comes off at first as the Jars of Clay version of City on a Hill with Jars as the backup band for the whole album. All the guest vocalist bring a very different feel and sound to this record. It takes a few listens to listen through all the different layers and vocals on the album and start to enjoy this record. Many fans will be disappointed with the album at first but keep listening and you will find this album growing on you and you growing to love it.
