This cd is truly something beautiful! | Posted February-22-2009
Todd's humble worshipper's heart really shows in this album. This one starts off with "Something Beautiful", a real edgy tune that rocks! Other songs like "Blood On My Hands", "Isaiah 6" and "Always There" are beautifully written. All of the other songs are great too, but the one that really hits home is the hit single "My Jesus". That song should really hit home with any Christian who needs to know where they stand with their Saviour. Let me share with you a part of that song: "Cause my Jesus would never be accepted in my church. The blood and dirt on His feet might stain the carpet. But He reaches for the hurting and despises the proud, I think He’d prefer Beale St. to the stained glass crowd, And I know that He can hear me if I cry out loud, 'I want to be like my Jesus'"
That song will truly bless you.
His rendition of "It Is Well" serves as the hidden track to wrap up this excellent album.

This cd is realy cool! | Posted February-22-2009
This is Todd Agnew's first album which contains the awesome hits "Grace Like Rain" and "This Fragile Breath". This man has a true worshipper's heart and you can sense that in his songs. "Romans 12:1" is also another favorite on this album, a great worship song for church. I was fortunate to go to one of his concerts a few years ago. We had a wonderful worship service that night. He took random requests from people which is rare in most of the concerts I have ever been to. This man is the real deal.

Don't go back to | Posted February-22-2009
I really liked the music on this cd. This one features their huge hit "Never Going Back To OK" as well as "Myspace Girl", which is based on a true story. I enjoyed this album but I still like their first cd better. These guys are really fun to see in concert by the way.

This is a gem of an album. | Posted February-21-2009
The music on this album is fantastic! It opens with the beautiful piano driven pop sound of "Beautiful Love". A terrific song which points to true love. "Until the World", "Someday" and "You" are all excellent songs as well but I think my favorite on this album is the worshipful "All That I Am". A song that simply reminds me to love the Lord with all my heart, mind and soul.

This is the group that John Waller used to sing with years ago.
This is not a bad cd though. The lyrics are good, the music sounds pretty nice. It's not one of my favorites but again it's not bad.

You simply can't go wrong with this one. | Posted January-27-2009
Don't be fooled by the album cover, which depicts a photo of 3 members of the band and a grizzly bear, this cd is acually pretty good.
This cd features the radio hit "Sound of Your Name".
A cool pop/rock sound with soothing vocals make this cd a keeper. All of the songs on this cd are pretty nice but the one's that really touched me were "Love", beautiful music and "Chapter 13", an instrumental piece with a voice in the background quoting the thirteenth chapter of 1 Cor., I absolutely loved that one.
If you like artists such as Rush of Fools or Tenth Avenue North then check this band out.

Another great album from another great group. | Posted January-27-2009
This cd is full of great music, lyrics as well as great vocals.
I enjoy most of the songs on this album but my personal faves are "Psalm 112", "Surrender", "Let the Healing Begin" and "Eyes of the World".
This album is probably one of 4Him's best to date and if you are a fan of adult ccm, you will enjoy this one I'm sure.

If you love hymns, get this cd! | Posted January-27-2009
I thoroughly enjoyed this album. Every song is beautifully arranged and the vocals....let's just say that this cd is a must-have for all hymn music collectors.
This album also features probably my favorite renditions of "The Solid Rock" and "All Creatures of Our God and King", 2 of my favorite hymns of all time by the way. Other songs include: "It is Well", "Faith of Our Fathers", "Great is Thy Faithfulness", "Fairest Lord Jesus", "Be Thou My Vision" along with many others.

Not just one of those bands... | Posted January-27-2009
This group is definitely something different. They have that country/southern gospel-like flair to them as well as some catchy upbeat tunes, which should gain fans of all ages.
I enjoyed this album, though, especially the hit "One Life to Love". That is a really good song with a real good message.
This album isn't really one of my big favorites but it's still worth listening too.

Absolutely a must have for all music enthusiasts. | Posted June-15-2008
If you love Christian music and if you love to hear your favorite artists clashed together, then you will definitely love this cd.
Some of these songs were just made for each other. The first track consists of 3 well-known hits, "Get Down/Dive/All Fall Down" smashed together to make 1 really fun song to hear. The next track, "Colored People/Entertaining Angels," was a perfect blend. Hearing dcTalk and Newsboys together - priceless. Track 3 with Grits and Switchfoot is 1 cool rockin' hip-hop song. Rebecca St. James and Earthsuit? Relient K and TobyMac? Who came up with those? Anyway, I found these songs very interesting indeed. I also liked how they mixed The Benjamin Gate and John Reuben together as well. That one should really make your head bob. Now comes track 7. I found this one a very interesting piece. First you hear the oh so familar "Jesus Freak" guitar riffs starting out, then you hear the vocals of....Zoegirl? Yep, your fave guy trio teams up with your fave girl trio. That one was indeed a surprise. Newsboys/Pax217 and Steven Curtis Chapman/Out of Eden were pretty cool mixes as well. Last but not least, Carman/Zoegirl. "Who's in the House" never sounded so good.
I enjoy this album more everytime I play it and I'm sure that you will too. You can find it for less than $10 at musichristian.com. The people at Sparrow Records did an outstanding job on this album and I surely hope that they will start making a sequel very soon.
