Well I listened to this album once again today and realized, THIS is my favorite Relient K album! :)
I love it, and freakin love acapella! Their first song is an acapella, so of coarse I'ma like it. Then I had also listened to thier songs randomly, and I noticed that most of the songs I liked are in this album. I like "I Need You", "Fakin My Own Suicide", "I'm Takin You With Me", "Crayons Can Melt On Us For All I Care" "Give Until There's Nothing Left" and my favorite Relient K song of all time is "The Best Thing"! the way the piano sounds in that song is the reason why I'm learning it today, I absolutely adore it and everything about it, seriously it's just so cute! :D
Haha, I love "Crayons Can Melt On Us For All I Care", awesomest short song I've ever heard, even if he did just waste ten seconds of my life. lol.
Anyways, awesome song lyrics, awesome album. I recommend this one the most! Love it. :)

The first time I heard this band was about 2 years ago, I heard their song 'The Difference' on this Music Video Channel called SteelRoots. Thought it was pretty good so my bro bought this album. Loved it! ( and still do.) They start this album out with 'Hello Jack' an upbeat song that lets you know what this band is all about. This song fades out with the guitar that eventually leads up to 'To Say They Hit it Off Would Be An Understatement' I personally like how the guitar sounds in this track. The next song is 'I Can't Stand to Fall Without You' think that song has great lyrics and I love the part where it's just the acoustic playin by itself. After that comes 'Another Name', I'm not too fond of that one, but we never know the stories behind these songs so who am I to judge...
Afterwards, we got 'The Difference' and 'Back Down' now these two are my personal favorites, I don't know if it's how well the songs were put together or the super creative music videos or even both, but either way LOVE EM! :) Soon after, we have 'Setting Off' I like these lyrics and they get stuck in my head at times. Then we have 'Letter to the Editor'. Now that song I like! When I first came to the Lord I asked Him to "tear out these pages and rewrite my story" and that's what He did, so this song is a constant reminder to that day. This song then leads to 'My Hippocratic Oath'! OH MY GOSH!!! I honestly can't point out what it is about this song that makes it my favorite from this album, but I just LOVE it and everything about it! Track 10 is 'Photosynthetic', now this song, I don't really know what to say, I mean it's good, lyrics, instruments (gazoos, I was suprised they put that in here too) I just don't really have a thing for on going songs, I think that's what happened there. I actually like the lyrics in 'Where to Start'. That song used to always get stuck in my head. This album closes with 'The Terminal' I actually like this song cause Scott sings high pitched.
I also recommend this band cause of their very creative music videos. Truely amazing what imagination can do! :)
Everything Is Different Now | Posted March-10-2011
I've always thought of Stellar Kart as a fun, random, spur of the moment, go with the craziness band! and that's what I love about them, I believe they said this was their worship album, either way I love it! It's different, but REAL good different. I like how they started this album with 'All My Heart' but it starts out with a real good piano intro, I like how they remixed some old songs like 'Spirit in the Sky' and 'My Only One', those also came out pretty good. I like the lyrics in 'Everything is Different Now' and I like how they did sumn a lil different with 'Something Holy' I tell you, that song can get stuck in your head all day, and it's something good to keep in mind cause "we were born to be a part of something holy". This whole album is something new and fresh and amazing, I didn't know that they could pull off some of the things they did in this album, but I really DO like how they did 'You Never Let Go' even though they barely changed it, it came out real good, and I liked it better than the original artist did it. Like this album, waiting to see if the next one is even more mind blowing... :)

I had never ever heard of 'This Beautiful Republic' before until one day I heard 'For The Life of Me' Oh my gosh! The lyrics are so pretty and true, after hearin that beautiful song I went out and bought this album and wasn't dissapointed at all. I like every song in it but my fav is definately 'Learning to Fall' I cried when I first heard it and convinced our church's worship team to learn it so they now play it during worship at our youth services here! :D I love the fact that they got Aaron Gillespie on background vocals in 'My God' although I think he coulda sang more...I think 'Surrender Saved My Life' is probably more than likely my next favorite song, and 'Say Goodnight' was so touchin and sad but beautifully written I think I want it played at my funeral. (although I wouldn't be able to hear it...)
I love this album and am patiently (cuz I have no other option) waiting for the next.

Well I'm not used to Aaron doin all worship, and I coulda sworn some of these songs got to the point to where they sounded like The Almost owned them, but I think he did a pretty good job for mellowin down to worship. I think 'Washed Away' was the best song in this album, I heard him play it live back in December and thought it was real pretty, but when I had heard it, I heard it acoustic, now that I've heard it with every other instrument I think it was well put altogether. I like 'We Were Made For You' as well, he went different, but not too different to where you wonder who's singing these songs. The thing that suprised me was that this album was ONLY eight bucks!!! I was like what the heck? but that's Aaron for ya, so I think this album is worth every penny without regrets.
Crazy Love | Posted March-02-2011
haha wowzers! I'ma be honest with you, Live Life Loud kinda upset me, I knew it wasn't their best album and that they coulda done better than that....so I was a little upset with them, but one day I heard their hit single 'Crazy Love' and I was like "Whaaaaaat? :O" I was like dang this song is amazing I loved it so after that I was lookin forward to their album, sometime after that I heard them play 'Your Love is a Mystery' and OMJESUS, that song blew me away as well so I went out and bought the album and I'm super stoked to say that I approve of this album and I apologize for ever doubting them, they really stepped up their game and impressed me! It's no question that 'My Next Breath' is DEFINATELY a beautifully written song, lyrics and all, workin on learnin it on guitar and I just can't get it outta my mind, I think this album had alotta work and effort put into it that in the end it was a "job well done" that they deserve major props for it! :D Lookin forward to them comin and havin a concert here this month, makin a HUGE effort to go and see them play these awesome songs live! No doubt in my mind that this is a GREAT album!
(was kinda suprised with the screamin in 'LAX' though, lol. did not see that one coming, but it's Hawk Nelson, ya gotta have a suprise and change somewhere in there.)
MMHMM | Posted March-02-2011
MMHMM has definately got to be my favorite album from Relient K. I mean I LOVE their music, but I think their greatest songs came out in this album, they didn't change their style er screw up a song. My favorite song from this album in particular has gotta be 'Who I am Hates Who I've Been', and I love the lyrics in 'Give Until there's Nothin Left'. Think it was so cool how they used the Uke in one of their songs too, not very many bands I listen to do that, I think they were able to pull it off and it came out nice with that song. When I bought the CD I didn't even preview it or anything I just went out and got it and I'm glad I did! I recommend this album 100% to any Relient K fans out there, and this band to anyone who likes random punk rock bands, truely one of the best! :)
