Powerful Gospel CD

When I first saw this album, I was immediately drawn to it just by the cover art and title. It looked like a rock or rap cd with strong Christian lyrics. And when I saw that somebody had put it in the Alternative Rock genre, I thought maybe I'd stumbled onto my next favorite artist! I read through the lyrics before listening to it and was hooked by the messages and creativity. Then I put the CD in and my vision was shattered.
Now before you start thinking I hate the album, let me tell you up front: this is a great Gospel cd! Amazing, powerful lyrics, great sound, and a talented group of musicians make this near perfect! This thing even has some strong guest artists like Tobymac and Flame! So why is my rating not the highest?
I don't like the Gospel genre. Otherwise, this would be a different story...
But if you like Soul or Gospel, this CD is for you! Don't keep on living without trying it out! If I were more into this style, I'd have already bought the album.
