I really enjoyed this album. Sara Groves has a remarkable way of putting words together in a way that makes them stay in your mind. She also makes good points and reminds us to make God a priority. In one of her songs she states "Then I realize I'm forgetting God, it's the root of all my misery", then she encourages us to find out first of all how our relationship with God is going, and to value our relationship with God over our spouse, our job, and our things. She also has a song called "Generations" where she admits that if she had been standing in Eve's place she would have made the same mistake, and she reminds us that what we do and the decisions we make can affect generations. In her song "This Journey Is My Own" she reminds us that we need to live for God and God only. We do not need to worry about having man's approval, but we need to make sure that whatever we do, we do for God's glory because it is Him we will have to answer to in the end. She is honest and never seems to be forcing a rhyme or melody. It seems effortless and it is easy to understand the words she says. I find her songs are fun to sing along to and they reveal great Biblical truths. She stays really close to the message of Jesus Christ, and her love for Him shows in her music and her life. I heartily recommend this album to anyone who wants some good music that doesn't have to blow out your speakers to be good. =) View All Music And Book Reviews By emzy44 | View emzy44's Profile
