Newsboys became a band in 1985. In 1988 their first album came out, Read all about it. I have to say that most of the songs off the record are quite lame. "Listen for the Shout" is just kind of annoying, "It's Joy" is too repetitive, but "I Got Your Number" and "Read All About It" are very awesome.
