I had recently stopped listening to Skillet as much because they had gotten "softer" and their songs started to sound the same but with this album came diversity and a fresh sound that I really appreciated. They had songs to appeal to pop lovers, metal lovers, and everything in between! Really impressed with American Noise and Good to Be Alive. They were really different from their previous songs and really pleasant to listen to. The message of hope in the songs was super prominent and touching but it was also empowering and fun!
