Old bands can still learn new tricks!

By Dave,
Stavesacre was one of the first Christian bands I ever got into, period. They started things up in 1996. A lot of people have no clue that they exist, but those that do know of them pretty much adore them... Mark Salomon is a lyrical genious with a voice that is like no other. I don't like to give too much credit to the lead vocalist, this is a trend that has been passed down somehow and it really takes away from a lot of the other talented members of bands. Mark makes it so hard though. He has done lead vocals in quite a few Christian bands, all of which being pretty much entirely all it's own. This, however, is my top pick for Stavesacre. A lot of the other albums hold a place in my heart for getting me into the Christian music scene. But, sentiment aside, this album is awesome. Nothing too hard here as with most of the newer Stavesacre. If you want that, check out one of Mark's other bands. Just a good, all around good listen.
