What can I say? Kirk Franklin once again squashes all nay-sayers, wannabes, and doubters. The "haters" if you will. Just like "Hero", he gives us personal testamonies and makes us want to have a more personal relationship with God. He uses tight beats and melodies, but it's his words that convey the longing that we all have to be more like Christ. The song that resonates in my spirit the most is "How it used to be". Remember when you first got saved and you were on fire for the Lord?!?! Well as time went on, you let the cares of this world get to you. Now you realize this and you are sorry for not fully believeing that God is who He says He is. But in spite of everything,God welcomes us back into His loving embrace. Hallelujah!
